Boat owners have an excellent opportunity to make money from their investment rather than simply lose it, as is tradition. The Armada can help you save money and make money with your vessel. Check out these frequently asked questions to decide if enlistment is right for you.

What will you do with my boat?

Depending on the type and quality of your vessel, as well as your comfort level and determination to maximize your profits, we will put your asset to work as either an alternative lodging accommodation for overnight stays or employ it within our traditional charter fleet.

How much money can I expect to make?

This answer of course depends on many factors including your type of vessel, its condition, availability and how you would like it to be used. For the smallest and most humble of vessels we would employ, such as a 1978 25' Cape Dory sailboat, you could reasonably expect to see annual earnings in the range of $2,000-$3,000. For a larger and nicer vessel being chartered, such as a 2013 45' Lagoon catamaran, you could expect to see annual earnings in the range of $30,000-$50,000. In the end, these are just estimates and your specific boat and market conditions will be the ultimate decider as to what you will actually make.

Who pays for maintenance and repairs?

Maintenance and repairs are a responsibility that is shared between the owner and the operator and is specified in the details of the contract.

Will I still be able to use my boat?

Of course! It's ultimately up to you how many days per year you would like to use your vessel, just let us know in advance and we will have the dates blocked out on the calendar and your ship ready for you when you arrive!
